Professional recognition

When a member successfully completes an FIB approved Certificate, Diploma, Post-graduate Diploma or Degree course, and provides evidence of a required continuous period of practical work experience, he/she becomes eligible to have his/her academic excellence and professional standidng recognised through appropriate membership status upgrade and granting of Awards. For the time being FIB's awards are:-

  • Banker's Certificate of the Fiji Institrute of Bankers (CFIB)
  • Associate  of the Fiji Institrute of Bankers (AFIB)
  • Fellow  of the Fiji Institrute of Bankers (FFIB).

Successful completion of FIB approved courses not only makes a member eligible to use the appropriate letters of designation after his/her name (after application to the Institute), but may also provide eligibility for bonuses and incentive payments from their respective employers
